We have many opportunities for you to embrace your calling and serve with one of our ministry areas. Below you will find a list of areas of ministry as well as the service opportunities for each of those areas. Meals

An amazing opportunity to care for someone with a one-time meal or to schedule a Meal Train to help for an extended amount of time. 

Note Encouragers

This gifted group of encouragers spends time writing letter and notes of encouragement and prayer to anyone needing to be reminded they are created in the image of God and therefore precious to Him.

Visitation

To be the hands and feet of Christ, going into the hospitals and homes to care for people in our community.

NewSong Artisans

A group of men and women who enjoy crafting, designing and decorating.

This ministry handles the updates and maintenance of NewSong's Facebook page as well as the website: www.newsongcommunity.church

Engage Group Leader

Engage Groups are our missional small groups. We desire to Engage with God, with each other, and the World as we become fully devoted followers of Christ. This is the core of who we are called to be as God's people. We study Scripture together, pray together, live life together, and develop relationships as we live life as transformed people serving others. Our desire is that each Engage group meet in a NewSong partner's home. 

Fountain & Pool Team

This is a part of our maintaining and caring for the fountains at the front and to the side of the building plus the pool in the back. They require commitment and care just like any piece of equipment and it is our job as stewards to maintain them.

KidSong

KidSong is our version of children's church during Sunday morning worship. Children ages 3- age - Kindergarten can attend KidSong Kinder. Children 1st grade - 3rd grade can attend KidSong Church. Children 4th & 5th grades can attend KidSong Connect. The students in KidSong learn biblical truths and discover who God is and the confidence of who they are in Christ. Need Teachers, helpers, recruiters, lesson planners

Landscape Team

Help us keep this beautiful piece of property God has given us looking beautiful which includes mowing.

Media Team

This particular group of people work on producing images, videos, story telling, and anything else that can supplement and add to our worship experience, whether it be Sunday morning, Prayer and Worship Nights, or special events.

Intercessory Prayer Group

This is a group of people that do their best to care intimately for those that are connected to the NewSong community through focused and intentional prayer. This group receives a weekly email inviting the intercessors to pray for the concerns and joys of the NewSong family, NewSong connections, and our world.

Nursery Team

A nursery is provided for children younger than preschool age for all church events. We need adults who are willing to give one Sunday a month, for one worship experience service, to laugh, rock, sing, and simply care for our babies and preschool age children. We also need those who will help fill the gap for parents when they are involved in their Engage groups throughout the week.

PREPARE & SERVE COFFEE TEAM

This is a separate team that helps makes Sunday morning happen, too! This team "SAYS HI" to everyone as they pick up a cup of coffee or grab some donut holes. The only training necessary to prepare and serve coffee is a simple walk through with the team leader.

COMMUNION PREP TEAM

This is a separate team of men and women who carve out time prior to Sunday's worship experience to prepare the communion elements our gathering of worship on Sunday morning.

Youth Engage Group Leader

As an Engage Group Leader, you will help lead these students through biblical teaching and life skills while helping them discover who God is and to feel confident about who the are in Him.

Youth Meal Team

Every Sunday evening, our students gather for biblical teaching, worship, lots of fun and a meal. As part of the meal team, you will help provide dinner for the youth of NewSong as well as Engage in leading the next generation to become fully devoted followers of Christ. 

Youth Mentor

Our young people need someone to walk beside them on their relational journey with Jesus. We need passionate people for Christ who will disciple our youth, teaching and reminding them who God is and who they are because of Him. We are partnering with the parents to lead this next generation to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Vacation Bible School 

At NewSong, VBS is usually 8:30 a.m. until Noon, Monday through Friday. We need teachers, shepherds, cooks, decorators, music people, & organizers!
